I believe that a story can change everything. I’ve spent my life telling stories through music - originally as a singer-songwriter, and now as a writer of musical theater. My favorite songs and stories are the ones that have been crafted with honesty, humor, and heart, and that’s what I aspire to in my work.

My original musical “King of Pangea” just had its world premiere production in Summer 2025 at the King’s Head Theatre in London. The show is based on my own experience, and has been generously developed with help from NAMT Festival of New Musicals, Barn on Fire, Jerry Mitchell, Utah Festival Opera, Foundation for New American Musicals, SYC Productions, Aubrey Swander, and with an incredible community of artists in Los Angeles, New York City, and London. It has also had productions at Lyric Theater of Oklahoma and Aurora Theater in Atlanta.

My latest music release “West Coast Sessions” features several songs from King of Pangea, reimagined by some of my favorite folk artists and produced by James Henry Jr.

I have other musical projects in development, which I’m happy to tell you about over a cup of coffee.

I grew up in California, and currently live and write in New York City.
